Under the leadership of the National Safety Production Emergency Rescue Center and the China Coal Geology Administration, the National Mine Emergency Rescue Land Special Exploration Team has established a rescue technology system centered on mine disaster rescue. It has undertaken 15 scientific and technological projects in the field of mine rescue at the national, provincial, and ministerial levels. It has participated in 33 ground rescue operations for mine disasters and rescued 191 trapped persons. Especially in the rescue of the Qixia mine disaster, it was the first to open up life channels and played a key role in saving the lives of 11 trapped miners. It has been commended by the Ministry of Emergency Management and the Shandong Provincial Party Committee and Government, and has been awarded the National Advanced Collective of the Emergency Management System, as well as the second-class collective merit. Based on the national key research and development plan project "Key Technologies and Equipment for Lightweight and Efficient Laser Demolition and Rescue", the Earth Special Exploration Team, together with Hunan Weapon Optoelectronic Technology Co., Ltd. and other units, jointly developed the "Portable Laser Demolition Equipment". The device focuses high-energy laser on the surface of the target, which can be remotely controlled, safely dismantled or destroyed from a distance, and can also be used to suppress the enemy's active forces in counter-terrorism. It can be widely used in operations such as unexploded bomb destruction, high-altitude dangerous material removal, honeycomb and high-altitude ice slide removal.
